Soil:

Deep moderately loose-packed calcareous soil.

Winemaking:

Selection of the grapes and manual harvest in the first half of October.
Vinification with 8 days of maceration with 5 punch-downs per day.
Yield of 70 l of must per 100 kg of grapes. Fermentation is conducted in a thermo conditioned stainless steel tanks at 25° after inoculating selected yeasts.

Refinement:

Aging in stainless steel tanks for a minimum of 5 months. Further few months in bottle.

Tasting Notes:

Ruby red, perlage, fine, persistent. The nose has hints of wild berries and a
the subtle spice of black pepper.
The palate is fresh, sapid, shades of sweet, good structure, winey.
